The Calgary Airport Authority embarked on its largest expansion with a six-year Airport Development Program involving the construction of a new international terminal, a runway, and associated taxiway systems valued at more than $2 billion.
The terminal expansion consisted of thirty-six new gate positions including up to six code F aircraft loading positions. The design for the new hydrant system for Concourse ‘E’ included preparation of a fuel main routing and profile, valve chamber location and hydrant pit locations along the west side of the new terminal expansion.
